Slinger and the Signaller training

The training will cover the different types of lifting equipment and their characteristics, the characteristics, use and inspection of lifting equipment, load-bearing practices, safety instructions, work planning and signaller hand signals.

The course is based on the ISO23853 standard with some applications.

The bottom man refers to the crane's load-bearing and signaling operator. The load securer is also sometimes referred to as the load trapper (load securer: the person responsible for attaching and detaching the load to the crane's loading device and for using the correct lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with the lifting plan).
