FRC First Aid Course EA 1® is a comprehensive 16-hour basic first aid training that teaches you how to act correctly in emergencies and common accident or illness situations. The course combines theory with practical exercises such as CPR, defibrillator use, wound care, and accident first aid. It also includes electrical safety first aid topics according to the SFS 6002:2025 standard. Participants receive an official SPR digital certificate valid for three years.

Confidence and Skills for Everyday and Workplace Safety
The FRC First Aid Course EA 1® is Finland’s most popular and comprehensive basic first aid training. It equips you with essential knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively in emergencies and accident situations. Suitable for everyone – no prior experience required – whether at home, during leisure activities, or at work, especially in environments with accident risks.
Two-Day Program (16 hours)
- Day 1: Emergency first aid basics, CPR, defibrillator use, choking management, shock, and care for an unconscious person
- Day 2: Accidents such as fractures, burns, poisoning, head and eye injuries, and bleeding control
The course also covers electrical safety first aid topics in compliance with SFS 6002:2025.
Hands-On Learning
Training combines theory with practical exercises, including CPR, AED use, wound care, accident response, and managing medical emergencies. Instruction is provided by SPR-approved first aid and health education trainers (ETK®), ensuring high-quality, real-world examples.
Certification and Validity
Upon completion, participants receive an official FRC digital certificate, valid for three years. This certification is valuable for both personal and professional settings.
